Enroll a Provider for Retail and Mail-Order with the Surescripts Network

You can enroll the provider for retail and mail-order pharmacies after you enter the provider details in the Providers master file.

  1. In File Maintenance, from Master Files > System, select Providers.
    The Providers List window opens.
  2. Double-click a provider.
    The Modify Provider Information window opens.
  3. Select the ePrescribing tab.
  4. In the Networks section, select open menu > Retail > Enroll.
    The eRx Message Submission window states that the request has been submitted and you can check the status in a few minutes.
  5. Select OK.
    The values appear for the following Retail settings:
    • Status. Indicates whether the provider is enrolled in the services.
    • Enrollment Date. Date of the provider's enrollment.
    • Un-enrollment Date. Date when the prescriber's enrollment expires.
    • SureScripts Provider ID (SPI). ID assigned to the provider at the time of retail enrollment.

  6. In the Networks section, select open menu Mail Order > Enroll.
    The eRx Message Submission window opens.
  7. Select OK.
    The values appear for the following Mail Order settings:
    • Status. Indicates whether the provider is enrolled in the services.
    • Enrollment Date. Date of the provider's enrollment.
    • Un-enrollment Date. Date when the prescriber's enrollment expires.
    • Mail-Order Prescriber ID. ID assigned to the provider at the time of mail-order enrollment.
