Displaying the Encounter History for Cases in NextGen® Enterprise EHR

Once you enable the Case View, the Encounter History tab displays all of the available cases related to the selected patient.

All of the Encounters containing all of the pertinent information attached to a particular Case are displayed under the Case. If there are any Encounters in the patient's history that are not attached to a Case, such Encounters are displayed separately at the bottom of the Encounter History tab. All of the usual Encounter-related functionality available in the Encounter History tab is retained. If a Case is selected, however, only the Template icon is enabled, allowing you to select and work with Case Templates.
