Clinical Tasking Icons

The icons appear in the Clinical Tasking tab are: Icon Description A task was created by you and sent to one or more recipients. A task was assigned to you and has not yet been acknowledged. Clinical Tasking Hot Keys

The hot keys for the Clinical Tasking tab are: Action Hot Key Description New Task Alt + N Creates a new task Send Task Alt + S Sends an open task to the assigned recipient Reassign Task Alt + E Opens the Select Task Recipients window to reassign the selected task to a user or workgroup Accept Task Alt + A Accepts the selected task Reject Task Alt + R Rejects the selected task Chart Alt + H Opens the patient chart associated with the selected task Parent topic: Clinical Tasking

Restore a Task

You can restore removed tasks that have not been permanently deleted. Select Clinical Tasks > Show Removed Tasks. Select a removed task from the task list. All removed tasks are displayed with a strikethrough line. Select Restore in the toolbar. A Clinical Tasking confirmation window opens. Select OK to restore the deleted task. Clinical Tasking

A patient's Inclusion or Exclusion List may restrict your access to clinical tasks. If you are a workflow delegate for another user or provider, you may not be able to access the same patient tasks as that person. If you do not have access to a patient, the Restricted message appears under the Patient Name, Subject, and Description columns. Complete a Task

When you have completed a task, you must mark it as complete in the Clinical Tasking tab. Completed tasks can still be updated or reassigned. Select a task assigned to you. Do one of the following: If you have already accepted the task, select Complete in the toolbar. If you have not accepted the task and want to accept and complete it simultaneously, select Accept > And Complete in the toolbar. The task appears completed for the owner and recipient of the task. Open the Orders Module from the Task List

You can access the orders module for a patient associated with a task. Select the task in the task list. Below the details section, select Orders on the toolbar to open the Orders module for the selected patient. The Orders module opens to the Results tab. Parent topic: Task Recipient Actions
