Delete a Procedure from a Patient Chart

You can delete a previously added procedure as long as it is not assigned to a locked encounter.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window.
  2. On the Encounter History tab, select an existing encounter or create an encounter.
  3. On the Top Toolbar, select .
    The Procedures module window opens.
  4. In the procedures list, select the procedure to delete.
  5. Select Delete.
  6. If the procedure was entered in error, in the Delete window, select the This item was Entered in Errorand then select Yes.
    The item is deleted from the procedures list.
All deleted procedures are displayed in the Deleted Items window. To open the Deleted Items window, on the Procedures window, select Deleted Items.
