You can define the relationship between members of a selected family unit, such as father, son, or daughter.
- Select the patient name in the Current Members pane.
- Select Relationship.
The
Relationship window opens, displaying the user-defined relationships.
Note: Relationship is always user-defined. You must create relationship types before assigning them to patients.
- To create a new relationship, enter the relationship name into the top field, and select Add.
- Select the appropriate relationship from the list.
- Select OK.
The selected relationship is added to the patient. Repeat all of the steps for each member of the family unit whose relationship you need to define.
