Configure CCD and C-CDA Exports

In the Data Share pane, select Open the Data Share Settings Slider Open the Data Share Settings Slider. Configure the following features as appropriate: To enable users to add to an existing document in the repository, select Allow Addendum. To enable users to overwrite an existing document in the repository, select Allow Replacement. To set validation to occur automatically before an export, select Enable Automatic Validation. Configure Document Management Image Exports

You can control which Document Management (DM) images are included in Continuity of Care Document (CCD) and Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA) exports. In the Data Share pane, select Open the Data Share Settings Slider Open the Data Share Settings Slider. From Document Management Image Export, select Show Document Management Images. Document Management Image Export To display only DM images that have been collected within a set number of days, enter the number of days in Default Viewable Days. Users can override this date range when selecting images to export. To allow an export to include all categories of DM images, select Documents. To exclude some categories of DM images from being available for export, do the following: Select Categories. The Document Management Category Filter window opens. Configure Data Share Module Settings

You can configure settings that affect all users of the Data Share module. To configure these settings, your account must have the OPERATIONS > Medical Summary/Data Share > Allow Options Edit right enabled in System Administrator. Note: Data Share module settings also affect the Medical Summary Utility. In the Data Share pane, select Open the Data Share Settings Slider Open the Data Share Settings Slider. Open the Data Share Settings Slider A pane opens to display configuration settings for the Data Share module. Data Share Settings Pane View or modify the values of any options. Importing CCDs and C-CDAs

In the Data Share module, you can import Continuity of Care Document (CCD) and Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA) documents from external systems or from folders. Import from External Systems In the Data Share module, you can search endpoints for documents and then select the documents that you want to import. Import from a Folder You can use the Data Share module to import Continuity of Care Document (CCD), Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (C-CDA), or Cross-enterprise Document Media Interchange (XDM) documents from a folder on a hard disk or portable media device. Sharing Patient Data With External Providers

In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you can search a patient, add or modify patient information, view CDA documents in a readable format, review patient's existing clinical data, and generate age-based growth charts. The Clinical Reconciliation module enables you to review a patient's existing clinical data and data from an imported CCD and C-CDA document, a patient medication history file from an ePrescribing vendor (such as SureScripts), or an HL7 message from a state immunization registry. The CDA Viewer enables you to view CDA documents in a readable format. The Viewer also enables you to easily filter the selected sections within the document, change the order that the sections are displayed in, perform CDA validation on the document, and save the viewing options as user preferences. Select and Import Documents

You can view the documents identified by a search and select which ones to import. In the Completed pane, select the Search Date value for an entry. Search Date A document list pane opens on the right. The title bar of the pane begins with the name of the endpoint that was queried. Document List Pane To hide previously imported documents, select Only Display New Documents and Documents Ready To Be Imported. For health information exchange (HIE) endpoints, this option filters out documents that were imported previously. For Carequality, this option also filters out documents that are downloading in the background and are not yet ready for import. To view child documents nested under parent documents, select Document Relationship View. To view any single document, select the entry in the Title column. The document opens in CDA Viewer.
