APSO View

APSO (Assessment Plan Subjective and Objective) View is a side panel that slides in and out and enables you to see current and previous information of patients. This side panel generates a document in real time. You can save and attach the generated document to a patient's chart. APSO View contains the following tabs: Current APSO This tab displays patient's current encounter summary that can be saved as a document to the selected encounter. Previous APSO This tab displays patient's last encounter summary of the historical data, such as allergies and medications. The Current APSO tab refreshes when you save a template in an encounter. The information in these tabs are based on a stored procedure. APSO View comes with a default stored procedure and style sheet that displays general information about a patient and an encounter. Overview of APSO View Settings

If you have appropriate security rights to access the APSO View Settings (Assessment Plan Subjective and Objective), you can modify the settings for the Current APSO tab. You can also set the stored procedure and style sheet for a specialty for the Current APSO and Previous APSO tabs from the APSO View Settings. APSO View Specialties

APSO View supports the Family Practice specialty. When you define a stored procedure and style sheet for a specialty, the Current ASPO and Previous APSO tabs display information from certain fields that are relevant to the selected specialty. Note: You can have multiple specialties defined. Once a specialty is defined in the APSO View Settings, the Current ASPO and Previous APSO tabs open for a specialty based on the following: The specialty selected on the Intake template. Definition of a specialty set for a Provider in File Maintenance, if the specialty is not selected on the Intake template. If you do not select a specialty on the Intake template and assign the specialty to a Provider, the default stored procedure and style sheet are used for Current ASPO and Previous APSO views. Set Up Stored Procedure and Style Sheet for a Specialty

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient chart. Select Admin > APSO View Settings. The APSO View Settings window opens. From the Specialty list, select a specialty. From the APSO View list, select a stored procedure. Note: Any custom stored procedure must have a custom.xsl file that corresponds to the custom stored procedure. The default style sheet (.xsl file) is used when a style sheet (.xsl file) is not defined and associated with the stored procedure and specialty in the settings. The stored procedure must include the following parameters for APSO View: enterprise_id practice_id person_id Enc_id EnterpriseChart Select the ellipses button next to the blank field. The Open File window opens, displaying all .xsl style sheets present in the user-defined folder for APSO View style sheets. Note: If you have placed a custom style sheet in this folder, you can select it from this folder. If you have not set up the universal preference for the APSO View .xsl path, an error message appea
