Set Up Stored Procedure and Style Sheet for a Specialty
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Open a patient chart.
- Select Admin > APSO View Settings.
The APSO View Settings window opens.
- From the Specialty list, select a specialty.
- From the APSO View list, select a stored procedure.
Note: Any custom stored procedure must have a custom.xsl file that corresponds to the custom stored procedure. The default style sheet (.xsl file) is used when a style sheet (.xsl file) is not defined and associated with the stored procedure and specialty in the settings.The stored procedure must include the following parameters for APSO View:
- enterprise_id
- practice_id
- person_id
- Enc_id
- EnterpriseChart
- Select the ellipses button next to the blank field.
The Open File window opens, displaying all .xsl style sheets present in the user-defined folder for APSO View style sheets.Note: If you have placed a custom style sheet in this folder, you can select it from this folder.
If you have not set up the universal preference for the APSO View .xsl path, an error message appears stating that the universal preference path is not set.
- Select the matching APSO View style sheet for the specialty and select OK.
- Select Add.
The stored procedure and style sheet are set for a specialty for the Current APSO and Previous APSO tabs.
- Select OK.
The changes are saved.

You can set up the APSO View universal preferences to select the file path for .xsl style sheets. - Enable Letterhead Image for APSO View and APSO Document
You can enable your letterhead image for APSO (Assessment Plan Subjective and Objective) View and APSO document.
