Set Up APSO View Universal Preferences

You can set up the APSO View universal preferences to select the file path for .xsl style sheets. The file path for custom .xsl style sheets is defined in universal preferences. You can store and access custom style sheets from this path. Open System Administrator. Select View > Universal Preferences. The Nextgen Preferences window opens. From the left pane, select General Options. The preferences and their values appear on the right pane. To set the file path for .xsl files for APSO View, double-click APSO View XSL Path. The APSO View XSL Path window opens. Select the ellipses button and select the path and select OK. The file path is set. APSO View runs based on the .xsl style sheets that are stored in this folder. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open a patient chart. Select Admin > APSO View Settings. The APSO View Settings window opens. From the Specialty list, select a specialty. From the APSO View list, select a stored procedure. Note: Any custom stored procedure must have a custom.xsl file that corresponds to the custom stored procedure. The default style sheet (.xsl file) is used when a style sheet (.xsl file) is not defined and associated with the stored procedure and specialty in the settings. The stored procedure must include the following parameters for APSO View: enterprise_id practice_id person_id Enc_id EnterpriseChart Select the ellipses button next to the blank field. The Open File window opens, displaying all .xsl style sheets present in the user-defined folder for APSO View style sheets. For example, if the practice id is 0001, then the letterhead image name should be letterhead_logo_0001.jpg. You can enable your letterhead image for APSO View and APSO document. Practice Level Document Configurations

On the Document Configurations practice template, the Practice Level Configurations section enables you to determine how general document options, vital signs, and the Orthopedic and Behavioral Health data appear on the generated documents. General options include opting to generate a master document or Chart Note offline. Offline generation can save the time of the provider that would have been spent waiting for the document to produce a copy in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. The master document cannot be disabled. The offline and online functionality is set on the Submit Code button. With the exception of the Preview and Offline buttons on the navigation bar, the master and Chart Note documents are generated together.
