Assigning or Unassigning a Diagnosis to a Test

The selection(s) chosen in the Select Diagnosis section and the Assign Diagnosis to Selected Tests panel work together. In the Assign Diagnosis to Selected Tests panel, if you select Assign All Diagnosis, it assigns each diagnosis selected in the Select Diagnosis panel to all tests selected for this order. If you select Unassign All Diagnosis, it clears the selection of all diagnoses associated with this order. Parent topic: Assign Diagnosis to Selected Tests Panel

AOE Questions and Selected Tests

When you select a test that has AOE questions associated with it, a button displays by the test name in the Assign Diagnosis to Selected Tests panel. Selecting the button opens the Test Details tab where you see one or more AOE questions associated with this test appear. All tests submitted through the Orders module should have a diagnosis associated with them. You must select an active problem that is associated on the patient's chart. You can also attach AOE questions with the tests. You should run Medical Necessity check before ordering a test.
