The Insurance Maintenance window is used to add insurance to a person or patient. You system adminstrator manages the insurer list in File Maintenance in the Payers master file.
- In the Insurance Listing section of the Demographics tab, select the open menu
and then select New Insurance.
The Payer Lookup window appears.
- Enter the search criteria for the payer.
- Select Find, and double-click the applicable payer in the Payer List.
The Insurance Maintenance window appears.
- Select the Detail tab and enter the HIC/Policy Nbr.
- Enter any additional information required by your practice.
- Select OK.
