Create an ICD Code Favorites List

To create a favorites group of ICD codes, you must first create a favorites group and then add ICD codes to it. This enables you to search a predefined group of ICD codes. Open the Add Billing ICD window. All Diagnoses The list of favorites displays under the Favorites menu in the Add Billing ICD window. To add a folder, select the add button. The application adds a folder with an editable folder name. Enter the name for the folder. Name of the folder The application enters the Favorites name and adds the delete button. To delete a Favorites group: Select the delete button. The application prompts you to confirm deletion of the Favorites group. Select OK to delete the Favorites group. The Add ICD option enables you to add a ICD code to the billing ICD list. Open Billing ICD List. On the Billing ICD List tab, select the Add ICD button. The Add Billing ICD window opens. All Diagnosis To search for a patient's diagnosis, do the following In the Search field, enter the diagnosis description in full or in part. Specify whether you want the Add Billing ICD window to search for ICD codes in the All Diagnoses list (default), the Patient's Diagnoses list, the Patient's Chronic Diagnoses list, a Favorites folder, or by Categories. Open View/Add Synonyms Window in the Billing ICD List

When you right-click the Billing ICD code from the search results displayed in the diagnosis search window, the View/Add Synonyms menu item displays. The View/Add Synonym menu items enable you to access the View/Add Synonyms window for Billing ICD codes. In the Billing ICD List tab, select the Add ICD button. The Add Billing ICD window appears. Search for an ICD Billing code. In the list of search results, locate the Billing ICD Code to add a synonym to. Right-click the Billing ICD Code. The View/Add Synonyms menu item appears. The frequently assigned ICD codes can be added to a favorites group. Open the Add Billing ICD window. Folder name The list of favorites displays under the Favorites menu in the Add Billing ICD window. Create a favorites list. Search for and select an ICD code. The system displays a list of search results. To add an ICD Code to your favorites list, select the diagnosis in the list of search results and drag it to the favorites list. All Diagnoses To view the contents of a favorites list, select the favorites list. The application displays the content of the favorites list in the search results panel. To delete a diagnosis/ICD code from the favorites list, right-click the diagnosis/ICD code and select Delete from Favorite Group.
