Add a Template to a Category

Before you begin

You must have the necessary user rights to add a template to a category.
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR Categories tab, you can add or remove a template from a category.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window.
  2. To open the Templates module, do one of the following:
    • On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template.
    • On the Top Toolbar, select the Templates icon.
    • On the main menu, select File > New > Template.
    The Select Template window opens.
  3. On the Select Template window, do the following:
    1. Under Show section, select All to view all available templates.
    2. Select the Categories check box.
      The Categories pane opens within the Select Template window.

    3. Select a template to add it to a category.
    4. Select a required category check box to add the template.
    5. Select OK.
    The template is added to the selected category.
