Before you begin
You must have the necessary user rights to add a template to a category.
In NextGen® Enterprise EHR Categories tab, you can add or remove a template from a category.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window.
- To open the Templates module, do one of the following:
- On the Categories or Encounter History tab, select Open Template.
- On the Top Toolbar, select the Templates
icon.
- On the main menu, select .
The Select Template window opens.
- On the Select Template window, do the following:
- Under Show section, select All to view all available templates.
- Select the Categories check box.
The
Categories pane opens within the
Select Template window.
- Select a template to add it to a category.
- Select a required category check box to add the template.
- Select OK.
The template is added to the selected category.
Note: You can add a template to multiple categories at a time. However, you cannot add multiple templates to a category at the same time.
