Enterprise Preferences for Population Health Sync

Note: In Enterprise Preferences, you can set up both Population Health Sync and Clinical Quality Reporting, but you can select only one of these reporting features at a time to view in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. The settings are retained if you switch from one reporting option to the other. To configure Enterprise Preferences for Population Health Sync reporting, you must initially enter global system settings that apply across enterprises and then enter credential settings for each participating practice in your enterprise. Filter Patient Information

Before you begin The patient should be enrolled in Population Health Sync (PHS) for data to be displayed in the Insights Viewer. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. Select View > Insights Viewer. The Insights Viewer window appears. Select any of the following indicator filters to display the associated patient score cards. Critical Warning Info All scorecards fulfilling the filter are displayed. Before you begin Ensure that the single sign-on universal preferences for NextGen Population Health are set up in System Administrator. Ensure that the user email address for NextGen® Enterprise EHR in System Administrator and the email address used to register in NextGen Population Health are same. You can open the NextGen Population Health website from NextGen® Enterprise EHR without entering the log on credentials for the NextGen Population Health website. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select NextGen Population Health. The NextGen Population Health website opens in your default browser outside NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Viewing Patient Information and Generating Charts

In NextGen® Enterprise EHR, you can search a patient, add or modify patient information, review patient's existing clinical data, and generate age-based growth charts. If your enterprise is enrolled in Population Health Sync, you can access data from it directly within NextGen® Enterprise EHR as well as from NextGen Population Health Analytics Solutions website. You can view available gaps-in-care and risk score data for a selected patient from the Patient Information bar. APSO (Assessment Plan Subjective and Objective) View is a side panel that slides in and out and enables you to see current and previous information of patients. This side panel generates a document in real time. You can also generate pediatric growth charts, growth charts from NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine, and growth charts from the NextGen® Enterprise EHR File menu.
