Assign all document types to the users. You can copy the Document Type permissions assigned to a group and apply those permissions to another group across practices.
To open the Security Groups window, do one of the following:
Open NextGen® Document Management, and then from the menu, select Admin > Security.
Open File Maintenance, then in the Master Files section, select System > Document Management, and then select Document Types.
Select the open menu button, and then select New.
In the Document Type Information window, select Security.
Right-click the group you want to copy the document type permissions from, and then select Copy Permissions.
Right-click the group you want to apply the document type permissions to, and then select Apply Permissions from <Practice name\Group name>.
The <Practice name\Group name> represents the source practice name and group name.
Note: The applied permissions overwrite the existing document type permissions that are configured for that group.
