Configure Practice Preference for Display of Orders
You can configure the default settings for NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine orders.
Open File Maintenance.
In Master Files, select System > Document Management, and then select Practices.
The Practices List window opens.
In the Practices list, double-click a practice.
The Modify Practice Information window opens.
Select Preferences.
The Practice Preferences window opens.
In Preferences List, select Orders Module.
In the Orders/Results Linking section, select the default view the orders appear in the linking window.
In Order Type and Default Source, select the default source that each order type collects data from.
In Adaptive Content Engine Order Status Update Upon Sign-off, select a status that is displayed for each order type when you complete a NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine order from the linking screen.
