You can use the links on the Checkout template which you can further customize. The Checkout template is associated with various specialties and is packaged with the following common links. View Links on the Checkout Template

The Checkout template includes the following links: Demographics. Enable you to document patient details such as contact number, address, Primary Care Physician (PCP), primary practice provider, insurance, pharmacy, provider, emergency contact, employment, and reminder details. Order Management. Enables you to update the applicable order details. Document Library Tobacco Cessation. Enables you to document tobacco history details, and medication screening questions. Document Library. Enables you to generate details from a list of documents. Community Resources. Enables you to document local resources and support recommended to the patient to aid in meeting the patients' psychosocial needs. Tobacco Cessation

You can use the Tobacco Cessation template to document the patient's tobacco use and the methods used for tobacco cessation. You can open the Tobacco Cessation template by using the Tobacco Cessation link. The Tobacco Cessation template enables you to document the tobacco history details, complete the medication screening questions, select the methods used for tobacco cessation, add assessments, and select and schedule the recommended treatments. If the patient has a medical condition due to tobacco use, then you can use the Tobacco Cessation template as a stand-alone visit for tobacco cessation. The Submit to Superbill button on the template enables you to submit the charges for the template. Note: For counseling sessions of less than 3 minutes, you can utilize the Risk Factors Config template to document the tobacco cessation discussed with the patient instead of the Tobacco Cessation template. Overview of the Checkout Staff Workflow

You can review and generate documents of a patient's checkout process. After completing the intake staff and provider workflow, the front office staff initiates and completes the patient checkout process on the Checkout template to do the following: Review and/or process all orders. Generate lab and/or radiology requisitions, if needed. Generate referral documents, if needed. Schedule future appointments as ordered. Generate the Patient Plan and Checkout documents, if needed. Viewing Template Links on the Checkout Template You can customize the links to meet your needs on the Checkout template. Open the Follow-up or Disposition Template You can document the follow-up details for a patient using the Follow-up/Disposition template. Managing Today's Orders You can process lab or radiology orders documented by the provider on the My Plan template. Template Links

You can use links to open frequently used templates. Based on the configuration in the Framework Content system template, links appear in the Intake, Histories, SOAP, Finalize, and Checkout tabs. The appearance of these links can vary based on the specialty, visit type, template, tab, and age of the patient. The links can be configured based on the following: Specialty Practice Provider Specialty and practice Specialty and provider These links are associated with a particular tab. You can configure a specific link on various tabs. Sub Navigation Set Up Links You can use the Framework Content system template to configure the links.
