You can view the pediatric growth chart based on the age and measurements of the patient. The standard growth chart measures BMI, weight, height, and head circumference.
Before you begin
Before you generate a growth chart, you must set up the appropriate graphing preferences. For more information on growth charts and graphing preferences, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Growth Charts User Guide forNextGen®Enterprise EHR and System Administrator Guide forNextGen®Enterprise.
- Open the SOAP template.
- In the Vital Signs panel, click Add.
The Pediatric [Age] Vital Signs template opens.
- In the Growth percentile section, click the Growth Chart link.
The
Pediatric Growth Charts - graph template opens based on the age and measurements of the patient.
Note: Age vs. BMI growth charts appear even if the patient age is less than two years. However, the patient's details are not plotted on theAge vs. BMIgrowth chart, if they are under two years of age.
- Right-click a graph to display a menu from which you can select other available plots, print the growth chart, select to view the chart in metric, add a citation, or change the display.
- Click Close.
