Update
button in the
Observations
panel to update previously entered information.

Save & Close
when done.

Add Observations
The Observations panel on the Objective template displays encounter-based flowsheets when an observation exam is selected. Observations can be added and updated by opening the different observation templates to document observed findings. The observation options appear in the left pane. Select an observation option from the left pane. For example: Transfers/Bed. Observations Click Add. The corresponding observations template appears. In this example, the Pt Transfers template opens as Transfers/Bed is selected. Pt Transfers Enter the required details. Click Save & Close. Update Attributes
In the Attributes section, select the required attribute. Make the necessary changes in Attribute, Type, Description, and Default Value. Select Update. The attributes are updated and displayed in the Attributes section. Select OK. Parent topic: Attributes

Update an Edema Record
On the Objective template, navigate to the Edema panel. Highlight the row in the grid. Click Edit. The Edema details template opens. Make relevant edits on the template. Click Save. Parent topic: Document Edema Details

Update Visit Types
You can edit visit types. Select the visit type row in the Visit Type Setup grid. The details move into the fields below the grid. Edit any of the fields as necessary. Select Add/Update. Parent topic: Visit Type Setup Panel

Edit Visual Acuity Findings
You can update acuity findings documented in the current encounter. In the Visual Acuity panel, select a row with an * from one of the following grids: OD OS OU The values are uploaded to the corresponding fields. Make the desired changes. ClickUpdate. Update an Intervention Outcome
You can modify all fields for an outcome entered during the current encounter. Since outcomes are encounter specific, you cannot view outcomes entered during previous encounters in the Goals, Interventions and Outcomes panel and therefore cannot modify those outcomes. You can view outcomes from previous encounter in the Care Plan History panel. From the navigation bar, click Care Plan. The Care Plan template appears. Navigate to the Goals, Interventions and Outcomes panel. Click the goal for which you what to update an intervention outcome. The system populates the fields to the right of the grid with the data from the selected record. Click the Intervention tab. The full Intervention tab appears with the previously entered interventions in the grid. Select the intervention with an outcome to be updated. Click the Outcomes tab. The full Outcomes tab appears with the data for the selected intervention. Make any necessary changes to the data fields. Click Update. The system updates the o
