Create Group Findings

Open the Custom DB Picklists system template. Locate and select the Derm_findings DB picklist. Select Configure. The Derm Finding Setup template opens. The grid shows the currently defined groupings for the available findings. Click Add New Finding. The data entry fields are enabled and the Add button is available. In the Finding Name field, type the name of the finding precisely as you have provided on the Graphical Exam Tool - Settings window. Click Clinically Grouped. Select yes if you want all records for this finding grouped as a single record on the Dermatology Quick Exams - PE and the Biopsy/Destruction/Shave - Procedure templates. Select no to address each finding individually. Click Add. The record is added. Click Close. Parent topic: Group Findings

Group Findings

Each finding marked on an exam tool image creates a separate record in the Findings grid on the GET. When you access the Dermatology Quick Exams - PE or Biopsy/Destruction/Shave - Procedures templates, those findings also appear as individual records in the grids on the templates. This is appropriate for many findings, such as lesions, as you would typically address each lesion finding individually. However, for certain findings, such as acne, you would treat the condition as a whole and not each marked finding. In that case, you would want to have the individual findings grouped on the templates as a single record, enabling you to address all findings for that condition at the same time. Note: The findings are only grouped in the grids on the Dermatology Quick Exams - PE or Biopsy/Destruction/Shave - Procedures template grids. The GET is delivered with a predefined set of findings for all specialties that employ the tool. The findings are appropriately included in each specialty profile delivered with the GET. If necessary, you can modify and add additional findings. When you add a finding to the GET, you can also do the following: Specify the appearance of the finding when you click the GET exam tool images. Setup the display order of findings. Launch a specific template at runtime for the finding. Add the finding to the derm_exam profile. Add the finding to the appropriate Reason for Visit lists. Optionally, create a template default for the finding. Indicate if multiple instances of the finding are to be grouped on templates. Display an attributes window when you annotate a finding at run time. You can configure each attribute to be a text entry or, for some attributes, you have the option to display a picklist. Update a Database Picklist Value

On the Picklist Configuration practice template, expand the Database Picklists panel. Select the database picklist from the grid. The existing values appear in the right grid. Select the value to be updated from the grid. The information corresponding to the selected value appear in the fields below the grid. Update the desired information in the fields. Click Update. Update a DB Picklist

Open the BH Foundation Configuration template, and expand the BH DBPicklists panel. In the DBPicklist Name grid, select a picklist. The picklist name appears in the DBPicklist Name field. In the List Item grid, select a picklist value. The list item value appears in the List Item field. Modify the value and then select Update. The new value appears in the grid. Edit Care Plan Data

In the Custom DB Picklists template top grid, select the Care Plans custom DB picklist. Click Configure. The Care Plans Setup template opens with pre-configured data in the grid. Select the care plan you want to edit. The data populates in the corresponding fields above the grid. Make relevant edits in the applicable fields. Click Update.
