Template Defaults Setup System Template
The Template Defaults Setup system template is the central location for managing and configuring template default sets. NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine (formerly NextGen KBM) is packaged with default sets that are used throughout the different specialties. The related Template Default Sets system template enables you to configure default sets that can later be applied to a template in run time.
A default set includes specific values that populate the assigned data fields. Template default sets can also be created in run time using the Quick Save icon. To apply default values, open a template having one or more default sets, then select a default set to quickly populate the data fields with the values contained in the selected set. You can edit the values and make necessary changes in the applicable fields before saving or closing the template.
The template default sets and values, including provider access information, can be added, modified or deleted in the Template Defaults Setup system template. You can also use the Template Defaults Setup system template to manage diagnoses for Quick Notes.
