Submit a Request to Supervising Therapist for Review

The Submit to supervising therapist for review check box enables you to request a review from the supervising therapist and sign-off on the daily treatment notes when a PTA does the exercises and therapies with the patient. On the Objective tab, navigate to the Documents and Printing panel. Select the Submit to supervising therapist for review check box. To change the treating therapist, click the field and select from the corresponding list. The Treating therapist field displays the currently selected provider. The Select Task Recipients window opens. Select Task Recipients From the left pane of the Select Task Recipients window, select one or more users listed under the appropriate practice(s). Submit a Request for Referring Physician Sign Off

On the Objective tab, navigate to the Documents and Printing panel. Select the Submit to referring physician for review check box. Note: Referring physician sign-off is only requested on evaluation and re-evaluation encounters and is used only by PT/OT providers who are in the same practice as a medical provider who referred the patient. User Sign-Off

The Sign off checkboxes are based on the selected visit type. Each sign-off checkbox is linked to specific security groups, as configured on the System Configuration system template. Sign off fields When Fee Sheet is submitted, the sign-off happens automatically for the therapist or supervising therapist. If your application is configured to require a supervising signature, an assistant, a new grad, or a student cannot submit the bill. They are instructed to sign off on the Single Visit template. After the sign-off, a task is sent to the supervising therapist to let them know that there is a chart ready for review. When the supervising therapist reviews the chart and submits the charges, the Supervising Therapist Sign off checkbox is selected. Note: You can configure Additional or configurable sign-off fields. Intake Sign Off

You can sign off on the Intake template, signifying that the Intake process is complete. This updates the Inbox status to Ready for provider. On the Intake template, select the Reviewed by check box. The fields automatically fill with your name and a date and time stamp. If your practice uses the pre-registration workflow, the dates that clinical 1 and clinical 2 were completed are displayed under the Reviewed by sign off section. Provider Sign Off

The Provider Sign Off panel enables you to submit and review the plan of care based on your role. As a rendering provider, you can send a request to the supervising provider to review and sign off the Master Im document. As a supervising provider, you can review and approve the Master Document.
