You can order an Allergen Specific IgE test in the Orders panel.
When a blood sample is necessary to determine allergens, you can use the Orders panel to place an Allergen Specific IgE test order.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- Open the Intake template.
- In the Orders panel, select Labs, and then select Add.
The My Plan template opens.
- To add or change a diagnosis in the Today's Assessments grid, select Add or Edit.
The Add or Update Assessment template opens.
- To change the current working assessment, select the diagnosis applicable to the encounter in the Today's Assessments grid.
The selected diagnosis appears in the Selected Dx field and becomes the new working assessment that carries forward to the other templates that share the assessment.
- From the Lab orders section, select the appropriate Allergen Specific IgE test check box.
- Select Place Order.
- Select the Lab/Diagnostics Radiology Order Module Processing link.
The Process and Submit Lab/Radiology Orders template opens.
- Enter the necessary details on the Process and Submit Lab/Radiology Orders template.
- Select Save & Close.
The ordered tests appear in the Orders panel.
