Open the External Genitalia Procedure Template

You can document and bill the external genitalia procedures on the External Genitalia - Procedure template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the SOAP template, select the Procedures link. The Procedures template opens. In Genitourinary, select External Genitalia. The External Genitalia - Procedure template opens. Document a Generic Procedure

You can document the details of the procedures that have no specific procedure templates on the Generic - Procedure template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. Select the icon and select the Procedures link from the navigation bar. The Procedures template opens. Select Generic. The Generic - Procedure template opens. Generic - Procedure In the Procedures section, do the following: Select the Procedure description field to search for and select a procedure. The application automatically fills Code with the CPT 4 code for the selected procedure. Select the modifier codes in Mod 1 and Mod 2. Enter the supporting codes for the selected procedure and add the modifiers in the corresponding fields in the Additional Codes fields. In the Pre-procedure care section, select the appropriate check boxes after explaining the procedure details to the patient. To add more information about the consent, select the Consent link . Document the Colposcopy Procedure Details

You can collect additional details about the Colposcopy procedures in the Colposcopy panel on the Colposcopy - Procedure template. Open the Colposcopy – Procedure template. In the Colposcopy panel, select a diagnosis in Indication for procedure, and then select a status. You can document the indication for the procedure in the Hysteroscopy/Ablation/Sterilization panel on the Hysteroscopy - Procedure template. Open the Hysteroscopy - Procedure template. In the Hysteroscopy/Ablation/Sterilization panel, select a diagnosis in Indication for procedure. Hysteroscopy/Ablation/Sterilization panel You can select up to four diagnoses. The diagnosis code appears in Code. Select a diagnosis status. You can clear the selected diagnosis details by selecting Clear. You can document the procedure findings in the Hysteroscopy/Ablation/Sterilization panel on the Hysteroscopy - Procedure template. Open the Hysteroscopy - Procedure template, and then expand the Hysteroscopy/Ablation/Sterilization panel. In the Findings section, to document Uterine size, do one of the following: Select the Normal check box. Enter a size in Other. Findings section For Position, select anteverted, retroverted, or midline. Enter additional details in Comments. You can also use My Phrases to directly add comments.
