Test Codes Data Set

The Test Codes data set on the Data Sets Setup template enables you to configure the test names so that the orders and test results can be recognized by the system. Each item in the Test Codes data set is used for mapping a code or description used by a reference lab or outside service location where a study or procedure is performed to the user-friendly name used by the practice to refer to that item. CAUTION: Do not enter the code and description on the same record. You must have a separate record for the code and a separate record for the description. In the example below, Urinalysis has multiple records. PT Modifier 59 Data Set

The PT Modifier 59 data set enables you to configure and store CPT code combinations for which 59 modifier must be attached while sending the information for billing. On the PT Finalize template, you can add several procedures for an encounter. Based on the billing rules, the 59 modifier is attached to include the charges associated with the secondary service or procedure that is provided along with the primary service or procedure. For the procedures, the 59 modifier is attached with the secondary procedure for a specific combination of CPT codes. If the functionality to automatically add the 59 modifier to the secondary procedure is enabled on the Practice Configuration template, then the PT Modifier 59 data set enables you to regulate the automatic addition of 59 modifiers to the secondary procedure. Map HCPCS Codes to Nebulization Solution

On the Data Sets Setup template, click Data Set and select Nebulizer Treatment. The existing data set items associated with the Nebulizer Treatment data set appear in the grid. Nebulizer Treatment data set Click Add. The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens. Template Data Sets Setup If applicable, click Diagnosis description to search and select a diagnosis. The associated diagnosis code automatically populates. If applicable, click Provider and select a provider from Dbp Rendering Provider. In List Item, enter the solution name to be used in the nebulizer. In Qualifier 2, enter the amount of the nebulized solution to be used. In HCPCS, enter the procedure code. In Units, enter the number of units of the nebulized solution. In Rounding, enter a value that is used to calculate the number of units to submit with the J code for the nebulizer procedure. The Rounding value is used to round-up the value entered in Units when you submit the data for billing. Click Save, and

View Run-Time Result of Mapping HCPCS Codes to Nebulization Solution

In the run-time Intake template, click the Procedures sub-navigation link, and then select the Nebulizer Treatment link from the Others section. The Nebulizer Treatment - Procedure template opens. In the Treatment section, document relevant details. Click Nebulizer. The data configured in the Data Sets Setup template appears in the Get Nebulizer Data list. Select a nebulizer record, and then click Save. The selected data is displayed in the Treatment section. Select Submit to Superbill, and then click Save & Close. The charges are submitted to the Procedure module. Note: The codes are passed for billing only when you select Submit to Superbill. Get Nebulizer Data list To view the charges, select Superbill from the File menu. The selected nebulizer record is displayed in the assigned procedures panel. Edit Nebulizer Treatment Data Set Items

On the Data Sets Setup template, click Data Set and select Nebulizer Treatment. The existing data set items associated with the Nebulizer Treatment data set appear in the grid. Highlight a grid to modify. Click Update. The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens. Make the necessary changes in the applicable fields. Click Save and then click Close. Remove Nebulizer Data Set Items
