Review of Systems for Well Child

You can review and update a patient's symptoms entered during the intake process in the Review of Systems panel on the Pediatric SOAP template. To document symptoms for multiple systems on a single template, you can click Pediatric ROS or other systems listed in the left pane. The systems listed in the left pane are configured on the Framework Content system template. Review of Systems You can copy the previous review of systems records to the current encounter using the ROS History button. Reason for Visit for Well Child

You can use the Reason for Visit panel on the Pediatric SOAP template to review and update the reasons for visit added during the intake process. The Well child hpi appears on the grid automatically if you select Well child for Visit Type. Reason for Visit In addition to documenting the specialty specific reason for visit available in the left pane, you can also document a well child visit on the a generic HPI template by selecting Well child or Well child HPI in the Reason for Visit panel. In the Reason for Visit panel, you can: Review and update the social history of the patient using the Pediatric Social History link. Open the Interval History- Nutrition template using the Nutrition/Elimination link. Document substance use, psychiatric, placement, sexual practices, and child abuse history of the patient using the Confidential History link. Pediatric Screening for Well Child

You can document and manage the screening tests and results in the Screening panel. In the Screening panel on the Pediatric SOAP template, you can do the following: Document different screenings for a patient using the screening buttons in the panel. View the patient's screening tests and results from the grid. Remove some of the screening results from the grid. Open the document attached to the screening results, if available. View the lab results for the pediatric patient. General Information for Well Child Visit

You can enter a patient's general information. The General panel on the Pediatric SOAP template displays whether the patient is new or established. You can view the patient's well child age and review the previous well child visits and documents. General panel In the General panel, you can do the following: View the patient's well child age based on the patient's date of birth in the Well Child Age list, and select a different well child age from the Select different well child visit list, if required. When you select a different well child age in Select different well child visit, the selected age appears in Well Child Age. View the patient's most recent well child encounter in the Previous Well Child Visit field. View the Chart Note or Master document from previous encounters using the Open Selected Well Child Visit button. If the previous encounter selected in Previous Well Child Visit does not have an associated Chart Note or Master document, the Open Selected Well Child Visit butt

Physical Exam for Well Child

You can examine a patient and document the information in the Physical Exam panel on the Pediatric SOAP template. In the Physical Exam panel, you can do the following: Use the One Page Exam link to document a complete exam on a single template or click the single system exams from the left pane and its submenu. When you click the single system exam or its submenu, it opens the respective template. Select a system from the list if the applicable system does not appear in the left pane using the Additional link. The physical exam template associated with the selected system appears to document the appropriate physical exam findings. Use the Office Diagnostics button to document or review diagnostics. Overview of Well Child Visit

You can use the Well Child visit type to document routine checkups for a pediatric patient. Using the Well child visit type, you can document a history of present illness, child development history, anticipatory guidance, and various screening tests. Well child visit type The Well child encounter workflow is similar to the Office Visit workflow, with the exception that the Pediatric SOAP template is available in place of SOAP template. Intake staff begins the visit by selecting Pediatrics or Family Practice for the Specialty and Well child for Visit Type on the Intake template. Intake staff then documents all the necessary details of the visit in the Intake and Histories tabs, and generates Intake Note. Provider reviews the details documented by the medical assistant and selects the Pediatric SOAP tab to proceed with a comprehensive review and documentation of the well child visit.
