Review of Systems for Well Child

You can review and update a patient's symptoms entered during the intake process in the Review of Systems panel on the Pediatric SOAP template. To document symptoms for multiple systems on a single template, you can click Pediatric ROS or other systems listed in the left pane. The systems listed in the left pane are configured on the Framework Content system template. Review of Systems You can copy the previous review of systems records to the current encounter using the ROS History button. Pediatric Screening for Well Child

You can document and manage the screening tests and results in the Screening panel. In the Screening panel on the Pediatric SOAP template, you can do the following: Document different screenings for a patient using the screening buttons in the panel. View the patient's screening tests and results from the grid. Remove some of the screening results from the grid. Open the document attached to the screening results, if available. View the lab results for the pediatric patient. Reason for Visit for Well Child

You can use the Reason for Visit panel on the Pediatric SOAP template to review and update the reasons for visit added during the intake process. The Well child hpi appears on the grid automatically if you select Well child for Visit Type. Reason for Visit In addition to documenting the specialty specific reason for visit available in the left pane, you can also document a well child visit on the a generic HPI template by selecting Well child or Well child HPI in the Reason for Visit panel. In the Reason for Visit panel, you can: Review and update the social history of the patient using the Pediatric Social History link. Open the Interval History- Nutrition template using the Nutrition/Elimination link. Document substance use, psychiatric, placement, sexual practices, and child abuse history of the patient using the Confidential History link. Assessment and Plan for Well Child

You can use the Assessment / Plan panel on the Pediatric SOAP template to document assessments, postoperative concerns, follow-up details, treatment plans, lab orders, referrals, office procedures, anticipatory guidance, and more. In the Assessment / Plan panel on the Pediatric SOAP template, you can find the following options for a well child encounter. The Anticipatory Guidance button to document the anticipatory guidance details. The assessment Encounter for routine child health examination without abnormal findings (Z00.129) in the grid to document the routine child health exam. You can click the assessment to directly enter the assessment and plan details on the Add or Update Assessment template. You can also use the Add Assessment button on the Add or Update Assessment template to enter assessment and plan details. General Information for Well Child Visit

You can enter a patient's general information. The General panel on the Pediatric SOAP template displays whether the patient is new or established. You can view the patient's well child age and review the previous well child visits and documents. General panel In the General panel, you can do the following: View the patient's well child age based on the patient's date of birth in the Well Child Age list, and select a different well child age from the Select different well child visit list, if required. When you select a different well child age in Select different well child visit, the selected age appears in Well Child Age. View the patient's most recent well child encounter in the Previous Well Child Visit field. View the Chart Note or Master document from previous encounters using the Open Selected Well Child Visit button. Overview of Well Child Visit

You can use the Well Child visit type to document routine checkups for a pediatric patient. Using the Well child visit type, you can document a history of present illness, child development history, anticipatory guidance, and various screening tests. Well child visit type The Well child encounter workflow is similar to the Office Visit workflow, with the exception that the Pediatric SOAP template is available in place of SOAP template. Intake staff begins the visit by selecting Pediatrics or Family Practice for the Specialty and Well child for Visit Type on the Intake template. Intake staff then documents all the necessary details of the visit in the Intake and Histories tabs, and generates Intake Note.
