Documenting Device Details

You can use the Device link on the navigation bar to document the details of an implanted cardiac device.

While documenting the details of an implanted device on the Device - Card template, you must document each cardiac device and each of its associated leads as a unique device. For example, after you enter the details of a pacemaker or implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), you must separately enter the device data for the associated device leads.

For manually entering the device and interrogation details, you must select the Manual Entry check box on the Device - Card template.
