Document the Administration Details for Allergy Testing

You can document the administration details for the Prick, ID, or Challenge allergy tests in the Results section of the Prick/ID/Challenge panel.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. On the Testing - Allergy template, open the Prick/ID/Challenge Tests panel.
  3. In the Results section, select the appropriate Test type.
    The ordered allergens appear in the Results grid.

    The system displays the first group of 20 allergens.

  4. To view each subsequent group of tests, select one of the following group links:
    • Orders 1-20
    • Orders 21-40
    • Orders 41-60
    • Orders 61-80
    • Orders 81-100
    • Orders 101-120
  5. Enter text or select the Location of the test from the list.
  6. Do one of the following to record the time of Administration:
    • Select the stopwatch icon for the desired field.
    • Select the drop-down arrow for the desired field and use the Time Entry window to enter the time.
  7. Select Save to Grid.
  8. If there are additional tests to administer, select the desired group link to display the additional tests.
  9. To task the test results to the provider for interpretation, select Task.
