Document the Administration Details for Allergy Testing

You can document the administration details for the Prick, ID, or Challenge allergy tests in the Results section of the Prick/ID/Challenge panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Testing - Allergy template, open the Prick/ID/Challenge Tests panel. In the Results section, select the appropriate Test type. The ordered allergens appear in the Results grid. The system displays the first group of 20 allergens. Results grid To view each subsequent group of tests, select one of the following group links: Orders 1-20 Orders 21-40 Orders 41-60 Orders 61-80 Orders 81-100 Orders 101-120 CAUTION: NextGen® Enterprise EHR clears the fields when you select another group of tests. If you enter any data for a current group of allergens, you must save the data before displaying the next group of tests. Enter text or select the Location of the test from the list. Orders Allergy Tests on the Testing - Allergy Template

You can order for Prick, ID, and Challenge tests in the Prick/ID/Challenge Test panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Testing - Allergy template. In the Orders section of the Prick/ID/Challenge Test panel, select Add. Orders section on the Prick/ID/Challenge Test template The Allergy Orders template opens. Allergy Orders Select the Description field. The diagnosis search window opens. Diagnosis search window To enter the diagnosis, do one of the following: If you have entered a diagnosis for this encounter, select Patient’s Diagnoses in the left panel. Note: The current diagnoses for the patient appear in the right panel. If you have not yet entered a patient diagnoses, select All Diagnoses in the left panel, enter a search term in the search field, and select Search. The Prick/ID/Challenge Test panel enables you to order and document the results of the following tests: Prick ID Challenge You can place the order on the Allergy Orders template. Enter the Prick/ID/Challenge Results

The Prick/ID/Challenge Test panel enables providers to review and enter results for the patient's Prick, ID, and Challenge tests. You can enter the Challenge test results in the Challenge Tests panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Testing - Allergy template, expand the Prick/ID/Challenge Test panel. Review the Results grid. Select the appropriate Test type. The ordered allergens appear in the Results section. Note: NextGen® Enterprise EHR displays the first group of 20. To view each subsequent group of tests, select one of the following group links: Orders 21-40 Orders 41-60 Orders 61-80 Orders 81-100 Orders 101-120 CAUTION: NextGen® Enterprise EHR clears the fields when you select another group of tests. If you enter any data for a current group of allergens, you must save that data before displaying the next group of tests. Record Challenge Test Results

You can record a challenge test result on the Testing - Allergy template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Testing - Allergy template, expand the Challenge Tests panel. To enter the results, select the desired entry in the grid. NextGen® Enterprise EHR fills the fields above the grid with the data from the selected entry. In the Results section, do the following: Enter the time of the interpretation of the test. Enter the patient's vitals details. Select Reaction to select the reaction that best matches the patient's current state. Select the Interpretation field and select Positive or Negative from the list. Enter additional details in the Comments field. Select Update. NextGen® Enterprise EHR adds the data to the selected entry in the grid. Place Prick, ID, or Challenge Test Orders

You can order Prick, ID, or Challenge test using Office Services in the Orders panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake - Allergy template. In the Orders panel, select Office Services from the left pane, and then select Add. The Allergy Orders template opens. Allergy Orders Select Description. The diagnosis search window opens. Diagnosis search window To select the current patient diagnosis, select Patient’s Diagnoses from the left pane. The current diagnoses for the patient appear in the grid. To search for a diagnosis, select All Diagnoses from the left pane, enter a search term in the search field, and then select Search.
