You can document historical cardiac procedures administered to patients. The application adds these procedures to the Order Management with status as completed.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- To open the Cardiology Procedures template, click the Procedures tab.
- On the Cardiac Procedures panel, do the following:
- To open a specific procedure, click the procedure category link on the left side.
- Select the procedure you want to document.
- Click OK.
- On the Date PopUp window, do the following:
- Select the date on which the procedure has been completed.
- Click Accept.
If the default month and date are set as 01 and 01 in Practice Configuration and if you select the procedure year as 2015, the procedure completed date is filled as 01/01/2015.
- Enter the procedure details.
- Click Accept in the corresponding procedure window.
The procedure has been added in the
Cardiac Procedures grid.
