Configure Medications in the Medication Configuration System Template

The Medication Configuration system template provides instructions configure and document dispensing or administering medications to patients at the practice. You can track and document dispensing while remaining within their current workflows.

Only medications set up in the Medication Configuration system template can be dispensed or administered on the Order Management template, provided they have also been placed in the patient’s Medication module.

When you dispense or administer a medication in the Order Management template, the new inventory count is updated on the Medication Configuration template.
