Configure Categories for a Documentation Log Entry

In the Navigation Item2 panel, you can configure categories for an entry type.

The configured categories appear after you select an entry type in the Documentation Log panel on the Documentation Log Config practice template.

  1. On the Documentation Log Config practice template, expand the Navigation Item2 panel.
  2. Click Entry Type to open a list of entry types configured in the Navigation panel.
  3. Select an entry type from the list.

  4. In Category, enter a category to be associated with the selected entry type.

  5. To clear data from the Navigation item 2 field and start over, click Clear.
  6. Click Add.

    The category adds to the grid.

In the run-time ASC Documentation Log template, configured categories appear in the second left pane after you select an entry type from the first left pane.
