Dermatology section If you select the Required Complete skin exam check box, the Complete skin exam desired is set as the required field in run time. An alert message appears if you attempt to proceed without selecting the Yes or Decline option associated with the Complete skin exam desired label. Patient Demographic Template

You can configure Patient Demographics template related details in the Patient Demographic Template section. Patient Demographic Template section The Patient Demographic Template section enables you to configure the following: Patient Checked In options - If you select email, tasking, or pt. tracking option, Patient Checked In on the Patient Demographics template opens the corresponding template. For example, if you select pt. tracking option, the system opens the Patient Tracking template from Patient Checked In. Enable the Cancer Registry Option on Practice Configuration

You can control the display of registry-specific fields, including the Required Fields check box on the Onc Treatment Summary template by enabling the Cancer Registry option on the Practice Configuration template. Click the File menu and select System\Practice Template. On the Select Template window, click the Practice tab. In the Show section, click All to see a complete list of practice templates. To access the Practice Configuration template, do one of the following: Double click Practice Configuration. Select Practice Configuration and click OK. The Practice Configuration template appears. Access the Onc Treatment Summary Template

Open a patient encounter and select a Specialty of Oncology and a Visit Type of Office visit. Note: Ensure the patient has an appropriate cancer diagnosis code in the Billing ICD list. The diagnosis code must match a valid CRR Report Code. Document the condition in the patient’s Problem List module. Select Cancer Treatment Summary from the navigation bar. Generate the Cancer Registry File

When all required demographic and cancer staging data has been entered, scroll to the bottom of the Onc Treatment Summary template and click the Required Fields Check button. Diagnostic History The Missing Data template appears and displays a list of outstanding required fields that must be completed to generate a Cancer Registry report. Missing Data Record the list of missing data and then click Close. Enter any missing data. Close all open templates and modules. Right-click the encounter that contains the cancer diagnoses and select Lock Encounter. The NextGen EHR Security Lock Encounter window appears. Lock Encounter Enter your User Name and Password. Click Lock. The system generates the Cancer Registry Report and saves the file to the export folder designated in the Rosetta Cancer Registry File Export agent settings.
