Document Date	Matches the date provided in the patient’s Health Information Exchange (HIE) document list.
Type	Matches the document type to a summary of care request or summary of care document.
Document Description	Matches the document name created during the HIE exchange.
Provider Recipient	Matches the associated provider in the patient’s HIE document list. The field may be blank.
Practice	Practice in the patient’s HIE document list. The column benefits Enterprise chart users.

Add the Summary of Care Details in the Associated Requests and /or Summary of Care Documents Received Grid

Using the Summary of Care Received option, you can add the Summary of Care document details automatically and manually in the Associated Requests and/or Summary of Care Documents Received grid. NextGen® Enterprise EHR automatically fills the Associated Requests and/or Summary of Care Documents Received grid with data from the Summary of Care document when the document is associated with the current encounter. This current encounter details are stored during the request functionality and/or the clinical reconciliation process. Each Summary of Care document details display as a separate row in the grid. A single Summary of Care document can satisfy multiple transitioning into care encounters. If the patient is enrolled in Enterprise Chart, you can see Summary of Care documents from different practices. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Intake or SOAP template, expand General. You can view various details in the columns available in the Summary of Care Received grid. The Summary of Care Received grid contains the following columns: Columns Description Document Date This column contains the date provided in the patient’s Health Information Exchange (HIE) document list. Document Description This column indicates the name of the external system that used during the query. Provider Recipient This column contains the associated provider in the patient’s HIE document list. This field may be blank. Request Date This column shows the date of the associated request. The request is either a system generated request or manual request. Request User This column shows the user associated with the request. The request may be a system- generated request, and the user may display as a system user. Practice This column indicates the practice in the patient’s HIE document list. You can view and add details of summary of care documents received. The Received/Requested Summary of Care section includes the following two options, and an [*] asterisk indicates the current option being reviewed in the grid:: Summary of Care Received Summary of Care Requests The Summary of Care Received grid contains the last 18 months of Summary of Care documents details imported from a third-party Health Information Exchange (HIE) and are a part of the patient’s chart. The documents may include an original request from the provider or clinical staff. The documents may also imported through HIE without a request. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. System Queried The name of the external system that used for the query. Request User The user associated with the request. This may be a system-generated request, and the user may display as a system user. Received This is associated with the original request status. This column contains one of the two following values. No documents Implies there are no imported documents in the patient’s Health Information Exchange (HIE) document list associated with this request.
