Care Plan Statuses
You can view or update a care plan status in the Care Plan template. You can set the status as Draft, Active, On-hold, Revoked, Completed, Entered-in-Error, or Unknown. The default status is set to Active.
You can update the care plan status to Completed only when the plan meets the following criteria:
- Health concerns are in inactive, remission, or resolved
- Goals are completed, cancelled, entered in error, or rejected
- Interventions are changed, completed, or discontinued
When you change the care plan status from Completed to Active, you can edit the existing plan.
You can only create a plan, when existing plan is completed.
When you set the care plan status as Entered in Error, all associated health concerns, goals, interventions, and outcomes are removed and you are redirected to the previous care plan.
