Care Management Specialty Visit Types
The NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine Care Management specialty has two visit types, each with its own set of templates:
| Visit Type | Description |

| Care Management | Enables you to record information about patient care transitions, track patient hospitalizations and ER visits, enter patient concerns, record medications, monitor problems and document the patient’s current functional status. You also use this visit type to create and monitor the patient’s plan of care. |
| Case & Consent | Enables you to record consent information for the patient, to track and document patient activities and interactions, and to generate care management-related documents. |
