Individual Visit Workflows for Behavioral Health

Individual visit workflows for Behavioral Health enable the documentation of assessment and treatment plans for the individual client and are associated with the following Visit Types: Home Visit Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation with Medical Services Psychotherapy - Individual Psychotherapy - Individual with E&M Virtual Visit Telephone Virtual Visit Video You can record new issues for the client on the Individualized Action Plan (IAP) template. The Comp Assess tab can be used to access the Treatment Recommendations/Assessed Needs panel. The IAP tab is used for the initial documentation of the client's goals, objectives and interventions for the assessed needs. The interventions can be tied to the client's treatment plan, but the content is specific to the needs of psychiatric professionals who prescribe medication. Access the BH - Psychopharm Template

To access the BH - Psychopharm template, set the Specialty to Behavioral Health and then select one of the following for the Visit Type: Medication Management with Psychotherapy Medication Management with Psychotherapy & Translator Click the Psychopharm F/U tab. Nurse's Progress Note (Long)

While the long and short notes were primarily designed for nurses working within a practice that provides psychiatric medication management, there are many other instances where using these templates would be appropriate. The BH - Nursing Note template (long note) should be used when it is apparent that there has been a significant change in the client's status. The long version of the template enables the documentation of vital signs and other medication concerns that may need to be conveyed to the psychiatric prescriber. Both versions of the nursing note are available from the navigation bar.
