Add Home Environment and Safety Measures Details

You can document the home environment and safety measure details of a pediatric patient.

1. To open the Pediatric Social Hx – Home Environment template, do one of the following:
   • On the Histories template, expand the Social panel, select Home Environment, and then click Add/Edit.
   • In the History Summary panel on the Intake template, click Social, click Environmental, and then click Add/Edit.
     

2. In the Historian field, enter the relationship of the person who provides the patient information.
3. Select the appropriate option for hand dominance.
4. To add or update the preferred language, click the Preferred language field to open the Modify Patient Information template and add the preferred language.
   Note: Details updated on the Modify Patient Information template gets updated in all the templates where the preferred language is present by using the Preferred Language field shared from the person table.
5. In the Home Environment section, add the home-environment details, and select the appropriate options.
6. In the Safety section, select the appropriate option from the given details.
7. Save and close the template.
