Select the most recent encounter from the left grid.
In the
Select the finding to add
area, click the desired data row to add it to the
Current HPI
field.
The selected data is added to the
Current HPI
field.
Click the row again to remove it from the
Current HPI
.

Historical HPI Findings
Any dynamic HPI template includes the functionality for historical dynamic HPI data to be entered into the current dynamic HPI visit. Update an HPI Finding on the Dynamic HPI Config Practice Template
You can update an HPI finding using the Dynamic HPI Config template. Open the Dynamic HPI Config practice template. Click the down arrow in the Reason field to select a value from the list.Setup HPI The content for the selected reason appears in the Chief Complaint field and the Sections grid. Select a row in the Sections grid. The content of the selected section appears in the fields above the Sections grid. Also, the Findings and Dependencies grids appears with the associated content of that section. In the Findings grid, highlight a row in the grid. Select new values in the available fields as needed. Add an Dynamic HPI Reason
The Reason field on the Dynamic HPI Config practice template is configured to display the History of Present Illness (HPI) data. This reason appears in the Reason field on the dynamic HPI template. On the Dynamic HPI Config template, click the Reason field and enter a reason for the HPI. Reason HPI If applicable, enter the Specialty and the Provider for the reason for visit. Note: If you do not enter the Speciality and Provider, the Reason is available for all specialties and providers. If you selected an incorrect specialty or provider, click Clear. Add Family History Data in the Dynamic HPI
You can configure and enter family history data in a dynamic HPI. You can configure the sections on the Dynamic HPI Config practice template. Open the dynamic HPI template. Click a link in the left pane that contains or has been configured by the practice to include family history. Add Past Surgical Data in the Dynamic HPI
Users can add past surgical history data in a dynamic HPI. Note: Configure these sections in the Dynamic HPI Config template. Open the dynamic HPI. Click past surgeries in the left pane. Add a New Dependency to a Dynamic HPI Section
In the Dependencies section of the Dynamic HPI Config practice template, click the Section Dependent field. Dependencies The sections list appears. Select an option from the list and click OK. In the grid below Sections, select a section of the finding that the associated section will depend upon. In the Findings section, highlight the grid row on which the associated dependent is based. You can drill down and select from a sub-set to include in the Section dependent on field. The Section dependent on field lists the section and findings information. Click Add.
