Add a Patient Communication
- Access the Communications panel.
- Click the appropriate link on the Communication Tool pane on the left to indicate that type of patient contact being recorded:
- Medication Management
- Medical Question
- Test Result Request
- Referral Request
- Forms/Records
- Billing Question
- Outgoing Call
- Other
The arrow to the left indicates which link is currently selected. The number to the right of the link shows that number of previously entered communications for that type of call. If you select a link, the previously entered communications for that type appear in the grid with the most recent call at that top of the list. - Click Add.
The appropriate telephone communications template appears.
- In the Call Information section, click the Contact Type field, and select the call type.
- Enter the applicable details on the remainder of the template.
- Click Save & Close.
