Add a New Procedure Details
- Click Site and select a procedure site from the list.
A list of procedure categories opens.
- Select a procedure category from the list.
A list of procedures opens.Note: Procedure is linked to a site on the Procedure Config practice template.
- Select a type of procedure from the list.
- Click Pre Procedure Diagnosis to open the diagnosis search window and select a diagnosis.
The selected diagnosis and the associated code appear in the Pre Procedure Diagnosis field and Code field respectively.
- Click the Indication link to launch the Procedure indications template.
The pretexts for the indications appear in the Pretext grid.
- Select a pre-text from the Pretext grid.
The selected value appears in the Pretext field above the grid and associated indications appear in the Indication grid.
- Select an indication(s) from the Indication grid.
An asterisk (*) appears to the left of the selected pre-text and indication values.
The selected pre-text and indication values appear in the Procedure Indications grid.
- To add more indications, select any other values(s) in the Indication grid.
- Click Save & Close.
The procedure indications appear in the Indication field.
The Clear button clears the data from all the fields in this panel.
- Click Add/Update.
The documented procedure details appear in the grid.
You can document only six procedures in the Procedure panel. If you attempt to exceed six procedures, an alert message appears.
