Modify an Existing Procedure Details

Select a row from the grid in the Procedure panel. The selected data populates in the corresponding fields. Note: The Site field is unavailable for modification. Make relevant changes in the applicable fields. Click Add/Update. The modified data updates in the grid. The changes also update in the grid in the Reason for Visit panel. Note: If you modify the procedure details in the Reason for Visit panel, the changes also update in the Procedure panel. Select a row in the grid and click Remove, to remove a procedure data from the grid. Note: When a procedure is removed from the Procedure panel, the system also deletes the procedure details from the Reason for Visit panel. Remove a Procedure Indication

To remove a procedure indication from the Procedure Indications grid, do one of the following: Select a row of procedure indication and click Remove. Select a value with asterisk (*) in the Indication grid. The asterisk (*) clears from the selected indication and the indication removes from the Procedure Indications grid. Modify Procedure Details in the Reason for Visit Panel

The procedure details documented in the Procedure panel on the ASC - Physician Procedure template display in the grid of the Reason for Visit panel. You can review and make changes to the procedure details in the Reason for Visit panel. In the Reason for Visit panel, select the row in the grid that includes the procedure details to launch the dynamic HPI template. HPI template This dynamic HPI template displays the selected procedure in the Reason field and the documented procedure details in the field below the grid. The categories and procedure types that are configured for the selected reason appear in the right grid. To make changes to the documented procedure details, select Procedure and then select a category from the grid. The asterisk (*) appears to the left of the selected categories and procedure type. Add Procedure Details in Dynamic HPI Template

The dynamic HPI template opens after you select a procedure in the Reason for Visit panel. This template allows you to document the procedure details such as procedure type, procedure category, and indications. In the Reason for Visit panel, select a procedure, documented in the Procedure panel, in the grid. The dynamic HPI template opens. At the top of the HPI template, you can view the previous or next procedure available in the Reason for Visit panel. You can click the right or left arrow at the top of the template to navigate to the next or previous procedures respectively. The Reason field populates with the associated site of the procedure selected in the Reason for Visit panel. To change the reason, click the drop-down arrow and select a desired procedure from the list. Select Procedure from the left pane. A list of categories appears in the right-grid. Set Up New Preadmission Interview Questions

In the Interview Questions panel, you can configure the scheduling screening questions. You can also associate chart check tasks and/or patient instructions with the screening questions. On the ASC Preadmission Activity Config practice template , Interview Questions panel, click the Section field to choose an option from the resulting list. If the available options are not relevant, double-click the top-blank row in the list to type a new value in the Section field. Click the Question field to type a new question. Click the Answer Type field to select one of the options. Note: If you select the Picklist option , the Answer, Value type, and Alert text fields are available, otherwise, these fields are not applicable and are not available. For all answer types, to indicate that the current answer is one that will require follow-up actions, select the Flag for review check box. Add Procedure Details in Ambulatory Surgery on the Dynamic HPI

Open the Home Page template and set the Specialty to Ambulatory Surgery and the Visit Type to Procedure. Click Intake to open the ASC - Intake template. Expand the Procedure panel and select the applicable procedures. Selecting procedure from the Procedure panel Click the Physician Proc tab. The ASC - Physician Procedure template opens. In the Reason for Visit panel, select the procedure that was documented in the Procedure panel. The dynamic HPI template opens. The Reason field displays the site associated with the procedure selected in the Reason for Visit panel.
