Add a Clinical Reference

  1. On the Assessment Plan Customization template, Order Sets (My Plan/Custom Plan) section, double-click any item in the grid to open the Provider's Custom Plan template.
  2. Select any Department for any Diagnosis Group.
  3. Select Manage References to open the Manage References template.
    In the Order Type filters, Lab Tests is selected by default.
  4. To change the Order Type, select a different filter option.
    If there is no order populated in the numbered field, the Reference field remains read-only.

    When an order is populated, the Reference field is available for you to free text the appropriate reference for that order.

  5. To document additional references, select Save before changing Order type filter.
  6. When all references are entered, select Save & Close to return to the Provider's Custom Plan template.
    A chain link icon populates to the left of the row that includes the entered reference. Hover the mouse over the chain link icon to display a tool tip with the order description or code number associated to the reference.

  7. Select Save, and then Close to return to the Assessment Plan Customization template.
