Record the Risk Assessment on the CHA2DS2 VASc Screening Template

Cardiologists can record the CHA2DS2 VASc stroke risk assessment in Screening Tools. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Click the Navigation bar. Click Screening Tools. The Screening Tools template opens. In the Screening Tools Available grid, select CHAD2DS2 VASc Screening. The CHA2DS2 VASc - Screening template opens. Note: In the Stroke Risk Assessment section, the application automatically selects age, gender, Hypertension, and Diabetes based on the patient's data. Select the appropriate option Y or N for the following items. The application calculates the CHAD2DS2 VASc score and displays the recommended drug therapy with the alert icons. Red icon - to indicate that the recommended drug therapy is not present in the Medication module. Green icon - to indicate that the recommended drug therapy is active and present in the Medication module. In the Other Data section, select the appropriate check boxes. Click Accept. The application adds an office services order for CHA2DS2 VASc Screening

Access AUC Score Wizard from Assessment And Plan Template

You can create and accept an AUC score on the Assessment and Plan template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. Click the Assessment/Plan panel. To open the Assessment and Plan template, select an assessment and click the A field of a diagnosis. Select a Plan Type and Plan, and then select a Choice. When you select a record from the Plan grid for a cardiology procedure order, if the CPT code is associated with a plan in the Plan grid, the AUC Score Wizard window opens. If the Choice grid is associated with a plan, the AUC Score Wizard window opens only after you select a choice.
