View Linked Vitals

The Show Linked Vitals button is used to view the vitals linked to an existing entry. Select an entry from the grid in the Documentation Log panel. The Show Linked Vitals button activates if the vital signs are linked to the selected entry. Select the Show Linked Vitals button.The Link Vital Signs template opens with the vitals linked to the entry, if any. To unlink the vitals from the entry, highlight a row in the grid and select the Unlink button. Select Close. Link Vitals and Records

The Link Vitals button is used to link patient's vital signs records to an existing entry. The patient's vital signs are documented in the Vital Signs Monitoring panel. Note: To display the Link Vitals, Show Linked Vitals, and Show Linked Records buttons in the Documentation Log panel, you must clear the Disable linked vitals and linked records functionality checkbox in the Documentation Log panel on the Documentation Log Config practice template. Select an entry from the grid in the Documentation Log panel. The Link Vitals button activates. Select Link Vitals.The Vital Signs Monitoring template opens. The template includes a list of vital signs records documented in the Vital Signs Monitoring panel for the current encounter. Select a row of vitals to be linked to the entry. Add Follow-up to an Existing Entry

The Add Follow Up button is used to add a follow-up entry to an existing entry. Note: To display the Add Follow Up button in the Documentation Log panel, you must clear the Disable linked vitals and linked records functionality checbox in the Documentation Log panel on the Documentation Log Config practice template. Select an entry from the grid in the Documentation Log panel. The Add Follow Up button activates. Select Add Follow Up. Select the appropriate values from the left panes and the right grid to document follow-up. Select Save & Close.The follow-up entry adds to the grid in the Documentation Log panel. Configure Values for Categories and Sub-Categories

In the Documentation Log panel, you can add descriptions to the category and/or sub-category associated with an entry type. The Documentation Log panel includes the buttons described below: Previous Level - Moves back to the previous level if you have more than one level for a description in the right grid. The Previous Level button is inactive for the first level of the description. You need to highlight a row in the grid and click the Previous Level button to view the previous level data. Next Level - Moves to the next level if you have more than one level for a description in the right grid. The Next Level button is inactive for the last level of the description. You need to select a row in the grid and click the Next Level button to view the next level data. In the run-time ASC Documentation Log template, the configured descriptions appear in the right grid after you select an entry type from the first left pane and a category or sub-category from the second left pane. Links and Buttons on the ASC Documentation Log

Element Description Quick Save Allows you to save the documented values as the default set for future use in the template. Filter Existing Links in the Grid

In the Manage Custom Links template, Link to field, select any grouping from the resulting list. The Rows field indicates the number of linked values available in the list. The list displays based the last selected Specialty filter option. You can refine the list further by specifying an item applicable to: "All" only to review the links designated as ALL in the Specialty field Current to review only the specialty designated in the Specialty field; you may have to click the Refresh button to obtain the desired results All Specialties to review the links grouped by a specialty name, as well as those designated as "all"; you may have to click the Refresh button to obtain the desired results Note: If you want the link to apply to more than one specialty but not all specialties, it is necessary to create a separate link for each specialty.
