In the Fever section you can update the alert preferences for fever data in pediatric vital signs.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
- From File, select System \ Practice Template.
The Select Template window opens.
- On the Practice tab, select the All option.
- Select Vital Signs Configuration, and then select OK.
The Vital Signs Configuration practice template opens.
- In the Fever grid, double-click a row that holds the alert to be modified.
The
Pediatric Fever Alert template opens.
- Select the age range and fever temperature for the patient.
In runtime, if the temperature provided by a user is greater than the temperature entered in the Temperature field, an alert appears.
- In the Alert, enter the updated message.
Note: NextGen Healthcare recommends limiting the alert message to 35 characters.
- Select the
icon to update other alert preferences.
- Select Save and then select Close.
