Select Vital Signs Configuration, and then select OK.
The Vital Signs Configuration practice template opens.
To filter the records in the Blood Pressure grid, enter the Age From and Age To fields and then select Search.
In the Blood Pressure grid, double-click a row that holds the alert to be modified.
The Blood Pressure Alerts template opens.
Select the patient's sex.
To enable entering the height percentile, the BP percentile, and the diastolic alert, select the Add Ht. Percentile and BP Percentile checkbox.
The BP Alert field changes to Systolic Alert alert.
For pediatric patients, the system automatically fills Ht Percentile, BP Percentile, and Systolic Alert fields. For adult and pediatric patients, you can manually enter or edit the fields.
To modify the age range of the patients you want to set the alert for, enter or update From and To fields.
To modify the systolic and diastolic ranges, enter or update the respective From and To fields.
To set systolic, diastolic, or BP alert messages that appear in run time, enter or update corresponding fields.
Note: NextGen Healthcare recommends limiting the alert message to 35 characters.
