Document Equipment Details on the Intra-Procedure Template

On the ASC - IntraProcedure template, go to the Equipment panel and select the Add button to open the ASC Equipment template.The Procedure field defaults with the value of the Procedure field on the ASC-Intraprocedure template. To select a different procedure, do one of the following: Select the Procedure field and select a procedure from the list. Select the left blue arrow or right blue arrow to go to the previous or next procedure respectively. Note: The Procedure field displays procedures previously documented in the Procedure panel. Select a value for Equipment Type from the pane. The short description of the equipment type appears as a navigation tab above left pane. The ASC Equipment template is configured on the Equipment Log practice template. Equipment Panel on the ASC - Intraprocedure Template

The Equipment panel allows you to document the equipment used during a procedure. The equipment type and the equipment details can be pre-configured on the Equipment Log practice template. For more information on configuration of equipment details, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Equipment Log Practice Template for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Equipment The Quick load procedure field in the Equipment panel is used to quick load the equipment detail documented for a procedure in the previous encounters. The field displays the first procedure documented in the current encounter. You can select the field to open a list of procedures documented in the Procedure panel on the ASC - Intake template. The Quick load procedure field includes the left and the right arrows. The left blue arrow and the right blue arrow indicate that the procedure(s) is available prior to and next to the current procedure. The left blue arrow and the right blue arrow are not availab

Update Documented Data in the Documentation Panel

In the Documentation panel, select a row in the grid. Select Edit to open the ASC Procedure Documentation template. Make the required changes by selecting any of the sections in the left pane, and then updating the selections in the grid.The selected values update to the field below the View label. Select Save & Close.The modified record updates in the Documentation panel grid. To delete a procedure documentation record, highlight a row in the Documentation panel grid and select Remove. If you want to save the documented values as the default template, select the Quick Save button and enter a default set name for the template. Edit an Entry

You can edit the entries in the Documentation Log panel. Select an entry to be edited from the grid in the Documentation Log panel. Select Add.The ASC Documentation Log template opens. The row of entry selected in the Documentation Log panel appears in the left panes and top right grid of the template. Select the applicable value. If you want to clear a selected value, reselect that value. The asterisk (*) clears from the value. To make changes in the Time and/or Late Entry details in the grid: Select an entry in the grid. Make relevant changes in the Time field or Late Entry fields. Select Update. Select Save & Close.The modifications update in the grid in the Documentation Log panel. Access the Equipment Log Practice Template

From the File menu, select System\Practice Template. In Select Template, click the Practice tab. In the Show section, click All. A list of practice templates opens. Select Equipment Log. Click OK. The Equipment Log practice template opens. To configure specialty-specific equipment, click Specialty and select a specialty from the list. To configure equipment for a specific practice, click Location and select a location from the list. The Clear button clears the value from the Location field. In run time, when you select a location in the Generalpanel, the equipment details set up for the selected location appear on the ASC Equipment template. Parent topic: Configure Equipment Details

Edit Equipment Details

In the Equipment Log panel, you can modify the equipment details in the grid. On the Equipment Log practice template, expand the Equipment Log panel. Select a row in the grid in the Equipment Log panel. The data is populated in the corresponding fields at the top of the grid. Make relevant changes. Click Update.
