Update Quick Tasks after Initial Setup

You can update a task after Quick Tasks are set up on the Quick Task Setup template.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Open the Intake or SOAP template, and then expand the Orders section.
  3. To open the Quick Task Setup template, do one of the following:
    • Expand the Orders section, and then select the settings icon.
    • Expand the Orders section, select Standing Orders, and then select the Config icon on the Office Services template.
    • Expand the Assessment/Plan section, and then select the settings icon.
    The Quick Task Setup template opens.
  4. To add a task, complete the fields above the grid.
    The new task information appears in the grid.
  5. To update a task, select the task in the grid, enter changes in the fields above the grid, and select Update.
  6. Select Save & Send or Save & Close.
