Map Template Medication to GCN

You can map template medication to a generic code number (GCN) in the Data Sets Setup practice template. Open the Data Sets Setup practice template. In the Data Sets field, select Med GCN Mapping and then select Add.The Template Data Sets Setup - [New Record] template opens. Template Data Sets Setup Select an FDB Med name.The corresponding GCN and dose are automatically filled. In the Template Med Name field, enter the medication name used in the run-time template and then select Save. To map another medication, select Clear For Add. Parent topic: Med GCN Mapping

Edit Medication Billing Data Set Items

On the Data Sets Setup template, select Data Set, select Medication Billing from the resulting list and then select OK.The existing data set items associated with the Medication Billing data set appear in the grid. Select the Qualifier field and select the required data set item from the resulting list. Highlight the required row in the grid to modify and select Update.The Template Data Sets Setup – [New Record] template opens. Make the necessary changes in the applicable fields. On the Data Sets Setup template, select Data Set and select LOINC Codes.The existing data set items associated with the LOINC Codes data set appear in the grid. Highlight a grid to modify.
